OXYTREX™

We are developing Oxytrex as an opioid painkiller with minimal physical dependence.

Scientists at Albert Einstein College of Medicine have published results in numerous peer-reviewed technical journals suggesting that opioid painkillers activate an excitatory signaling pathway linked to opioid receptors, which stimulates the transmission of pain. This excitatory pathway counteracts pain inhibition and is believed to be a major cause of adverse side effects associated with opioid use, including the development of tolerance and addiction. Oxytrex uses ultra-low-dose naltrexone to counteract the excitatory effects associated with chronic opioid use, such as physical dependence.
